[qpixels] qBases en DA y el revival del dolling

Hi everyone. This time I want to comment on two issues. The first is about a good thing I've seen in recent times: the revival of dolling. And the second one is about my qbases and their popularity.

About dolling, I noticed that the activity always follows a cyclical course of eternal return: it starts with enthusiasm, enchantment, desire to create and share: it is then a saturation or egos' struggle phase: and ends in a stage of disillusionment, withdrawal or indefinite hiatus.

When I went into this hobby, I don't know in which cycle was, but anyway, I think that the third stage finished recently, because I became part of a generation of new dollerz that, being in "phase 1", we had all the enthusiasm and desire to have fun. But as I explained at the beginning, the cycle should continue, and we go through that tedious "phase 2" of idolatry and saturation. Although I retired at that time of the activity, it was only by coincidence: I had started work and, to my regret, no longer had time for pixels. So passed the time (years) and with other mishaps, I lost the thread of dolling.

That's why when I met this year with a fairly large contingent (and new to me) of dollerz on the internet, has been revitalizing and motivating to take up this loved hobby.

And since there are so many new doller pixel so hard, the second issue came to my mind: my qbases and their popularity.

I thought about how much I love and excited to see dolls made using my qbases. So I thought, seeing how people uploads their bases to DA, it's not a bad idea to advertise my qbases by uploading them here, too. The truth is that I have not done before because I kept some pride in my site, which I would like it to be visited, but more importantly that visits to my site is to see creations made using my qbases, isn't?

What do you think? For my part, I do wish to say that the most rewarding for me seeing dolls and pixels made using my qbases, is to feel that part of my own world flourishes  in another land with care and love

Holas a todos. En esta ocasión quiero comentar dos temas. El primero es acerca de algo muy bueno que he visto en este último tiempo: el revival del dolling. Y el segundo es acerca de mis bases y su popularidad.

Respecto al dolling, he notado que la actividad siempre sigue un curso cíclico de eterno retorno: inicia con una cuota de mucho entusiasmo, encantamiento, ganas de crear y compartir; le sigue luego una fase de saturación y/o lucha de egos: y termina en una etapa de desencanto, retirada o hiatus indefinido.

Cuando me interné en este hobby, no sé en qué ciclo se hallaba la actividad, pero como fuera, creo que habían pasado por la tercera etapa, pues me tocó ser parte de una generación de dollerz, que por estar en "fase 1", teníamos todo el entusiasmo y ganas de divertirnos. Pero como ya lo expliqué al principio, el ciclo debe seguir, y también nosotros pasamos por aquella tediosa "fase 2", la de la idolatría y la saturación. Si bien yo me retiré por esa época de la actividad, fue solo por coincidencia: había comenzado a trabajar y, a mi pesar, ya no tenía tiempo para pixelar. Así pasó el tiempo (años) y junto a otros percances, perdí el hilo del dolling durante ese tiempo.

Por eso es que encontrarme este año con un contingente bastante grande (y nuevo para mi) de dollerz en internet, ha sido revitalizante y motivador para retomar este hobby tan querido.

Y ya que hay tanta nueva doller con tantas ganas de pixelar, es que vino a mi mente el segundo tema: mis qbases y su popularidad.

Y es que pensé en cuánto me gusta y emociona ver dollz hechas usando mis qbases. Por eso pensé, viendo cómo las personas suben sus bases a DA, si no sería buena idea para publicitar mis qbases, subirlas yo también acá. Lo cierto es que no lo he hecho antes porque guardaba cierto orgullo por mi sitio, el cual quería fuera visitado, pero ya que más importante que las visitas a mi sitio es ver creaciones hechas usando mis qbases, he tanteado la alternativa descrita.

¿Qué opinan ustedes? Por mi parte, no quiero dejar de decir que lo más reconfortante para mí de de ver dollz y pixels hechos usando mis qbases es el sentir que una parte del mundo propio florece con amor en otra tierra
